Data Acquisition Toolbox and NI-9401

I am thinking about purchasing the Data Acquisition toolbox and have a couple of questions before I do...

1) Is NI-9401 a supported device for this toolbox?

2) Is this toolbox able to program the NI-9401 similar to LabView or does it just send one-shot commands to the device?
