A MATLAB function block inside a Simulink model with embedded coding block

I have a custom Matlab function inside my Simulink model that I have tried to build for a TI DSP. When I connect a scope to the input of my function that I have converted from fixed int to double nothing is plotted. When I debug the program these signals have values. How can I plot these variables?
