Amplitude Modulation Synthesis function in matlab?

For Amplitude Modulation, it suppose to have carrier amplitude and modulated amplitude.

however, the matlab built in function which is ammod, i cannot find which is carrier amplitude.

y = ammod(x,Fc,Fs,ini_phase)
