Why do so many system target files include the phrase "Real Time"?
I do not need real-time code execution. I just want to generate C code from my Simulink model.

The Simulink Coder product was formerly called Real-Time Workshop and, as a result, this terminology is still found in many places in our products.
The Simulink Coder product description web page says the following:
"The generated source code can be used for real-time and nonreal-time applications, including simulation acceleration, rapid prototyping, and hardware-in-the-loop testing."
