Importing excel data in a loop

Is it possible to import excel data value in matlab variable everytime when a user enters a value in excel block. I want this process to be in a loop i.e, when a user enters a value in excel sheet block and presses enter, the same value gets imported and updated in matlab variable. Kindly suggest relevant matlab code for this problem. I shall be very thankful to you..
