image processing of MRI image

Hi good evening,

the attached image is an MRI of the heart. From that image how would i manually determine the volume of blood in the ventricle?

I am sssuming that this question is about using MATLAB to perform Image Processing on this MRI.

Please explain more about the ventricle as there might be people from non medical background who might be able to help you out when you explain the problem statement more precisely. It will help if you could:

1. Post a copy of this image wherin ventricle is highlighted.
2. Add some more examples depicting ventricles with different volumes of blood.
