Am I eligible for a student license?

I am currently doing my PhD corrections, but after I hand in the university will cut off my access to MATLAB. However, I still need to write up the journal articles for my PhD. Is there any way at all I could buy a student license for this as it is for research I did as a student ? - and I wouldn't be doing it commercially or anything.

The only ones who can give an OK here is Mathworks themselves. You can contact Mathworks support directly with the 'Contact Us' button at the top of the page. I don't you have a big chance, but if you don't ask you'll never get a yes.

Tricky.

You need to ask Mathworks to rule upon this . My reading of the conditions is that you would need to get a full license since journal articles are considered to be for your "profit". However if you are working with a scientist at the university as coauthor then Mathworks might permit an Educational license to be used .

Hey thanks for clarifying. Never went through the full "Terms and Conditions". I thought trial version can be used freely for any purpose till it gets expired.
