Artificial minimum in solving ODE

Hello again,

Is there any way, using one of the ode functions in MATLAB, to set a tolerance below which that variable will be set to 0?

I'm not quite sure what you mean, but the discussion on ‘options’ here:

and in ‘odeset’ (particularly the ‘AbsTol’ option):
