Converting from object coordinates to view coordinates

Hi!

I want to write an interactive tool to select polygons of a 3D model. Therefore, I need to convert world coordinates of my model to view coordinates (because i get the mouse position in the view coordinates). Is there any function that does it? Or any other way around?
