Is EEG Lab related to Matlab? Matlab Tutorial Link

Hi,

I want to do some work on EEG signals (preprocessing and classification). Is this related to Matlab? Please provide me some tutorial to learn about it in short time if its related to Matlab otherwise kindly tell me some alternative.. Also provide me some links to MatLab tutorial.

Eeglab is aa third party product that is coded in matlab but it is not created by or supported by Mathworks .
