Verification problem-ab​solute/rel​ative error

Hello all, I have 2 sets of data that I need to verify. Although they seem identical to me, but when I verify them, I get many zeros which mean they are not identical. Possibly due to decimal points. I asked around and was told I should use absolute/relative errors, but I have no clue how to use that. Any advice would be highly appreciated.

unfortunately, I can't share my code as it is way to messy and won't make sense to you, but I thought to ask if there is a general advice? Many thanks in advance !

Are you working with floating point numbers?
