pan uiaxes appdesigner coding for pre and post callback behaviour

I can enable the pan mode in uiaxes via this line of code:

pan(app.UIAxes,'on');

but it throws error when i want to run the Example 5 — Coding Pre- and Post-Callback Behavior from the pan documentation.

h = pan(app.UIAxes,'on');
h.ActionPreCallback = @myprecallback;
h.ActionPostCallback = @mypostcallback;
h.Enable = 'on';

Any callback workaround for this or uiaxes have no access for callback in appdesigner?
