parfor doesn't work in compiled program

I'm studying how to compile a code and eventually noticed that parfor loop in the compiled program doesn't work (Matlab R2016b). After doing some research also this suggestion by STAFF failed.

Perhaps the reason may be that I use parfor within the timer execution code as follows:

handles.tim = timer('ExecutionMode','FixedRate','Period', 1);
handles.tim.TimerFcn = {@timer_execution, handles };
start(handles.tim);

I also tried putting parpool() right before the parfor loop as suggested by some posts where it work for them - but not for me.
