Starting Neural Network in matlab

Hi,

I am going to use Neural Network for my project. I have some data and based on that I am planning to use neural network for a prediction model. Can anyone advise the tips for how to start. I have never use algorithms before. Can you please let me know the step by step procedure that I can follow?
