kmla - is there a MATLAB function called show? I can't see one in the documentation. Try typing (in your command window)

 which -all show

to see if there is such a function in the MATLAB search path. Also, please copy and paste the code that you have written that generates this error.

What are you expecting the show function to do?

All of the show() functions are class methods, such as show() of an javax.swing.JPanel

I suspect you are thinking of imshow()
