Why does Polyspace get stuck on the loading screen during startup?

When starting up Polyspace, I seem to get stuck on the splash screen at a certain percentage. How can I resolve the issue?

In this instance, doing a clean reinstallation of Polyspace seems to have resolved the issue. May be a result of a corrupt installation of Polyspace.
