I am trying to write a code that read the value obtain from microcontroller via R232 and save that file in txt format, any help is truely accepted.

I am new with the Matlab and have no idea about serial interfacing with the RS232 so it will be great help if you could provide me with some basic code that i need to understand to deal with the objectives. Thanks in advance.
