PID optimization using Genetic Alagorithm

 Hello for my MSC dissertation i am investigating the DC to DC boost Converter feedback control system. i am expected to optimize the PID controller using Genetic algorithm. Can anyone give me a guide on how to go about it.

I have read this paper and i understand the basics of the GA but my problem is how to use the GA toolbox in simulink.

the boost converter model i designed in simulink is working perfectly, to optimize conveter using the GAOT Box is my problem.

I would suggest posting a new, more specific question about the problem you are having with the GAOT toolbox. For example, what errors are you getting, and what task are you trying to do?
