i'm trying to use the video viewer in the image processing toolbox but it is just showing the slices on the side but it doesn't display the actual 3d image. i tried everything but only a black screen is being dispalyed.

It sounds like he has a series of images that are slices of a 3-D objects (like a CT scan), and wants to view the 3-D model from those slices. That's not how Video Viewer works. However, he could maybe look into reconstructing it himself, and displaying it with some of our built-in functions. There's an old discussion here: discussion
