How can I set requirements in Simulink Test Manager programatically?

sltest.(TestFile|TestSuite|TestCase) objects have a "Requirements" property. It is read-only. How can I set requirements programatically? (R2016b)

The Requirement property of sltest.TestFile/TestSuite/TestCase is currently read-only and can only be set from Simulink Test Manager GUI. I have created an enhancement request for our development team so that they may consider implementing this in a future MATLAB release.
