How to detect rectangular lines in image

Hi,

I have a tiny rectangular component (I have attached the image) and I would like to find his contour for find out his misalignment. I tried use edge detection but the results I got were not good enough, I am interested in maintaining the outer contours of the rectangle and not altering them during the detection process. Please help me.
