Color in surface plot

Hi. I have a matrix with different ratios that I plot in matlab.

I would like to change the coloring to certain intervals that I have specified myself: such as: > 1.3 Blue 1.1-1.3 Dark Green 1.0-1.1 Light Green 1.0 White 0.9-1.1 Light Red 0.0-0.9 Dark Red.

Any suggestions on how to do this? I did not quite understand the help sections...
