What features I should extract for margin?

I have two margins of two objects, one is regular and one is irregular. I would like to classify regular or irregular margin. What features I should extract for classification?

I would use Solidity, as returned by regionprops(). It's the ratio of the area to the convex hull of the blob. You can also use the circularity which is perimeter^2/(4*pi*area) or the inverse of that.
