Why do I get the error "Unable to check out the Simulink Coder license which is required to generate code"?

I am using s function blocks in my simulink model. I could generate c code from simulink coder before some days but now for the same model i am gettin an error "Unable to check out the Simulink Coder license which is required to generate code"

The error pops up when user tries to use a function in an installed toolbox/product but corresponding licence couldn't be found. If you have successfully used the product earlier on the same machine, the licence has probably expired now. In case it is a shared licence Matlab is unable to connect to LM server for checking out a licence or there are too many users checking out the product at the time of licence checkout failure.
