How do I add a new Simulation Mode

I'm developing a customized target which requires new simulation modes which the user shall select via standard simulink options. How can new Simulation Modes be added to

1) The Model Reference Block

2) The Model Toolbar

That's a good idea, but it is not possible. As of R2016b adding or creating a custom Simulation Mode is not supported. I work for MathWorks and I have forwarded this feedback to the appropriate product team. They may or may not consider incorporating this feedback into the product in the future based on the frequency and impact of the request. Thanks!
