error in newff neural network training function

Matalb version 7.10 R2010a

P = [0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10]; T = [0 1 2 3 4 3 2 1 2 3 4]; net = newff(P,T,5);

THe error obtained was as follows

??? Undefined function or method 'minmax' for input arguments of type 'double'.

Error in ==> network.subsasgn>setInputExampleInput at 909 range = minmax(p);

Error in ==> network.subsasgn at 96 [net,err] = setInputExampleInput(net,i,exampleInput);

Error in ==> newff>new_5p1 at 144 net.inputs{1}.exampleInput = p;

Error in ==> newff at 89 net = new_5p1(varargin{:});

Odd, that routine has been part of the neural network toolbox for a long time. Try

restoredefaultpath

If that does not work then you probably need to reinstall the toolbox
