Using quiver to plot a given flow field equation

I have two equations I would like to plot. I am having trouble understanding the application of the quiver command. The examples that I have found do indeed plot flow fields but they lack the relations from which the numbers are taken. Right, as if a problem from 16 days ago was a relevant homework question. I don't need your derisive tone, I obviously wouldn't have gotten this far if I didn't know at least something. I am more than a little offended that you are questioning my academic integrity.

For one, I know the answer. It's trivial to calculate a table of values and hand graph it, it's why I didn't bother to include them. It's irrelevant that I can do this equation in a different program, I know how to graph. What I needed was an answer, not your snide comment.

Just for clarity, here are the equations graphed.

I apologize for sounding incensed, I did in fact look at the relevant literature provided for the quiver function.
