Matlab on iOS without computer session

Hi, I'm considering purchasing Matlab license but I want to use it on my iPhone. My question is can I use matlab to do calculations on the phone without having matlab running on my computer? Because I'll be using at my university most of the time and I won't be bringing my computer there nor I am going to have my computer running at home all the time.

MATLAB does not run on an iPhone. I do not expect that to change any time soon.

You can get MATLAB Mobile app which allows you to use your iPhone as an interface to connect to a remote MATLAB session. That session might be some kind of link back to your home computer, or it might be some access through the MATLAB Cloud; see http://www.mathworks.com/products/matlab-mobile/features.html
