Spring damper with matlab.System object and block

Hi Folks

I am familiar with the implementation of ODE's with Matlab, Simulink and Simscape. I am trying to see how I can use the Matlab System object in Matlab or Simulink to model a simple spring damper example. Is there as similar example somewhere that I can work through?
