Hi,
I would like to ask whether it is possible to adjust the magnitude of the chirp signal or not? Because the default amplitude of the chirp signal block is 1 volt, and I would like to get the chirp signal magnitude of 5V-6V. How can I adjust it?? Or csn I put a gain block of 5 after the chirp signal block?
Please advice, thank you very much.
Regards

Yes, since there is no amplitude parameter, you can simply place a Gain block after it to achieve the desired frequency.

Dear Miss Kaustubha Govind,
Thank you very much for the reply. Can I know the reason why this type of signal is suitable to be used as the tested input in system modeling? I already know that the chirp block is able to output a unity magnitude signal with increasing frequency in every cycle. If my system is a xy positioning table, in order to run the open loop test (to obtain input & output data for system modeling), can I use this chirp signal as my tested input as well? The output data of my positioning system will be the signal generated from multiturn potentiometer which return the linear position data of the system continuously (potentiometer is mechanically couple to the system actuator, in my case is a dc motor).
Hope to hear from you soon. Thank you very much.

Teo: Sorry, I don't have enough experience with system modeling to answer that question with any authority. Perhaps you could post this as a new question on MATLAB Answers so that other experienced users can weigh in?

Dear Miss Kaustubha Govind,
Actually, I already posted the relevant question for sometimes, but nobody answer it. Anyway, thank you very much for your help.
