Visual studio matlab compiling

Hi, im trying to write a simple sum function from visual studio 2013 and run it with matlab 2014a. I'm new in programming an i have no clue of how mex works.

Well, the first step is to get a clue. Then, come back with a specific question. Otherwise, we'll just be repeating the information in the above link.

Saying that, if you're new to programming, maybe you should concentrate on just learning one language.
