Tell us more about your data. Are the two columns, with (x,y) pairs?
What do you want the output to be? A histogram with dimensions for (x,y) and z = frequency? Or do you want some kind of fit to a continuous curve.
Don't make us guess at what you want!

The hist3 command makes bivariate histograms. (That command is part of the Statistics and Machine Learning Toolbox.) Your data are an Nx2 matrix, so it is as simple as
figure hist3(data)
The figure I got:

You can adjust input parameter to get more bins, etc.
