Generate 3-D object

Hello every one,

I have the CT scan images of a object, how could I generate this object in Matlab?

I have tried the patch function, but I failed. My method is: First, I detect contours, and then I get the points belonging to this contour. I use these points as the vertices for "patch" functions. Next, for each vertices, I find 2 nearest vertices, one in the same layer and one in the next layer to create a faces for the "patch" functions. But the result is bad.

Could anyone know how to do it? Thank you very much and sorry for my bad english!
