volume calculation

hi, i ve an 2d image, i know the number of pixel in a region. i need to find the volume of the region. pls help me wit sample code. anyone pls help.Is there any way.?

Area? Volume is 3d. In 2d volume will be zero unless it's a slice of a 3d image and you know the pixel depth (ct/mr images).
