AREA IN SQ.CM

hi, i know only the number of pixels in the region. help me with sample code how to calculate area of the region in square centimeter. pls help

Hi,

First, you must know about actual size of your picture in cm.

For example your picture has 1000 pixel of height x 600 pixel of width. You should measure 1000 pixel = ? cm and 600 pixel = ? cm

Hi,

some time ago, my friend asked the same thing.

He wanted to measure the height of water in an aquarium.

He should measure the height and length of the aquarium in units of cm.

You should do the same thing.

You cannot do this by using only information contained in the image, for the same basic reasons I discussed over here
