Will a restart of the license manager affect long running MATLAB jobs?

In a Linux environment, we have a number of clients who frequently have long running (days) MATLAB jobs. We need to restart the currently running license mgr. service to change the user and reorganize directory locations.

Will this restart kill the running client jobs ??

I would recommend contacting installation support to be on the safe side, but to my best knowledge, this does not impact calculations. Even for interactive operations, you would have at least 20 minutes to restart the license manager and restore the client server connection.
