feature selection criteria, sffs

Hello, I proposed an integrated framework for feature selection by combining feature ranking and sequential forward feature selection, I implemented this framework over breast cancer and leukemia data sets. The results for breast cancer data was better than for leukemia. Can anyone explain why the results was contradict with each other, is there any technical reasons .
