Fitting a line to a histogram

Hello! I'm trying to fit a smooth line to a histogram and only display that line instead of the bars. I tried it with the kernel density function fit, but it's somewhat too smooth. Is there a less smooth alternative? Thanks!

I have data from different time points and plotted them in 10min long bins. I'm trying to fit a line to the resulting histogram. The measurement timepoints are random.
