Fuzzy Convergence for finding convergences

I am doing a project on Retinal Image Processing where my primary aim is the location and segmentation of optic disc.So I am referring to the paper "Locating the Optic Nerve in a Retinal Image Using the Fuzzy Convergence of the Blood Vessels" by Hoover and Goldbaum.So, I please need help on the algorithm.
