Good morning all!
I took the Fourier Transform of an image using fft2. Afterwards, I shifted the zero-frequency to the middle of the array using fftshift, and performed some operation on the result. Now, I need to go back to the spatial domain through the inverse Fourier Transform. Should I fftshift it, before applyin the ifft2?

Yes. Use ifftshift before ifft2.
