HI folks,

Do I need to install MCR on a computer that already has matlab?
Is 'find_system' command supported for packaging into a .NET dll?

What I need to do is to connect a C# GUI with simulink and verify if a desired block is in the simulink model or not while the user is still working on the model (with matlab open)

You do not need to install MCR if the same version of MATLAB is installed that the file was compiled with. The version that the file was compiled with has to be installed somehow, including possibly because that release of MATLAB is installed.
