do not have the genetic algorithm function in the global optimization toolbox

I have a student version of matlab and I need the genetic algorithm function, but it is not available in the global optimization toolbox,

HELP!

If you're a student, then there's a pretty good chance your school has a license for Global Optim TB. You'll be constrained as to which computers you can work on, but you should be able to get access. If not... search around online (File Exchange, for example) to see if anyone has something that might do. Or if anyone has $1000 they're willing to give you.
