Java JRE to latest version

I have a copy of MATLAB R2024a that has Java 1.6.0.17.4 in the following directory,

MATLAB\MATLAB Compiler Runtime\v80\sys\java\jre\win32\jre\bin\java.exe

I need to reove it to keep my IT department happy, How can i upgrade it to a later version.

Removing MATLAB\MATLAB Compiler Runtime\v80\sys\java\jre\win32\jre\bin\java.exe will not affect the running of MATLAB itself. It will only affect the running of applications compiled with MATLAB Compiler
