I get that you are receiving the error:

Simulink cannot be installed. You do not have write permissions for the following folder: D:

The error suggests that you are encountering permission problems while trying to install Simulink.

You will already have Simulink if you have downloaded MATLAB. You can select Simulink by going to the Home tab in MATLAB. You can install MATLAB by executing the MATLAB installer as an administrator if you don’t have MATLAB installed so that you will have write permissions.

One another note, you can contact your administrator to grant you write access to the directory that you’ve mentioned.
