scalar quantization for range of integer numbers

hi, I wanted to quantize range of an image coefficients range from -200 to 560 which are integer numbers and always I got errors because it claims real number vector for input,so, may I have an example solving my problem? thank you in advance...

You may need to show the code that causes the error, and give the exact error message, before it is possible to help. You may also need to give a precise statement of what your code is trying to do - "quantize" is a bit vague.
