Dear Sir or Madam,
Is it possible to export a Simulink Model as a Model Exchange FMU, instead of a Co-Simulation FMU?
I see that using the "exportToFMU" function the only option provided for "FMUType" argument is "CS" (that stands for Co-Simulation).
Is there any other option to do this?
Thank you very much in advance.
Best regards,

Hi! Thank you for your answer. I guess that it has been added in MATLAB R2024b, hasn't it?
Thank you very much in advance.
Best regards.

Yes it has. In R2024b I'm having no problem creating an ME FMU, FMI 2.0. But (& this is a big but), it is really slowing the execution rate. I'm still working through if there is a better way to prepare the model for ME FMU export, or if I'm using it wrong. I found this question looking for best practices.

Hello,
Exporting a Model Exchange FMU is not supported at the moment and is being considered as an enhancement in a future release.
For now, standalone FMU export for co-simulation is supported as of R2020a and later through the Simulink Compiler product.
