Run a MATLAB function when Simulink button is pressed

Hi all,

I'm curious to know whether ther is any possibility lies to run a custom fucntion when I click on the RUN button in model advisor. How can I possibly triger the function when the check is intiated.? any suggestions or idea on this.

Many thanks for your response. Making the custom checks seems to be possibly working for me as needed. But I would like to know whether there is any possibility to run a function that is not defined in the sl_customization or as a check.
