STM32F4 External Mode not working

Hi,

I am using an STM32F411E board with Simulink. I am trying to use the Monitor and Tune but I keep getting this error. I already tried changing my TTL, changing the COM port, using another USART but still nothing.

I am using MATLAB R2023a.

What really bothers me is that it used to work just fine, suddenly it stopped working (Already checked all the physical conectrions as well). Any suggestions will be appreciated.

An issue with the COM port could also lead to the displayed error. Try changing the COM port in device manager (https://www.startech.com/en-eu/faq/change-com-port-number-windows), and in the Simulink hardware settings.
