I have Python version 3.11 installed on WIndows 10. I first had the Microsoft Store version, but then I downloaded and installed version 3.11 from the Python website. Version 3.10 is no longer available as a binary installer.
According to Versions of Python Compatible with MATLAB Products by Release - MATLAB & Simulink (mathworks.com), version 3.11 is not compatible with MATLAB (even though it is the only version of Python available right now). Version 3.10 is compatible, but I can't install it because they have deleted the installer. When I try running pyenv in MATLAB, nothing comes up. I can run Python on its own just fine.
Is there any way of getting around this version discrepancy? I have Python scripts I need to combine with calculations in MATLAB so I'd really like to get this working. Do I have to wait for MATLAB to support Python version 3.11?
Thanks.
