EPS format figure exporting

Hello i have a odd problem

When i want to export figures to eps format i often run into the following error: "Error using hgexport(line 936) error using print>localprint(line 291)"

Often matlab creates a epstmp format file instead. This occurs both when using Save in the figure window, or when using the print command in the command window.

I have however found out that if i repeatedly try to save i get lucky and the eps figure is created anyways, which i find a bit odd. Hope you have an idea of the problem.

Edit: Often i do not encounter the problem either, which is what makes this odd, I do not understand the origin of the error.
